According to the USA lifesaving Association 250 million people visit us beaches every year, but very few of them go swimming. And what is keeping te americans away from the waves?
Well the fear of sharks attacks, floating syringes, raw sewage and all shorts of other terrible things that are found in the sea. The numbers of water amusement centers (what we used to call "public swimming pool") in the USA has doubled since1995, while Americans build 200000 home swimming pools a year.
Anyway is it's any consolation for americans, the sharks cannot cope with the pollution anymore.
They are washing up dead on the beaches on Florida at a rate of 200 a week.
